ABOUT US

Entering into its 18th year, the Cypress Hills Trail Challenge is a family-friendly event that takes place in the beautiful Cypress Hill Interprovincial Park (Saskatchewan side).

The CHTC offers runners four distances in which to participate: 2km, 5km, 10km and 21km. The 2km stays on the paved road that circles Loch Leven Lake, while the remaining distances take runners out onto some of the gorgeous trails the park has to offer. The beginning of the race is challenging, but those three events all end with a paved trail down (yes, downhill!) to the road, perfect for catching your breath before the final sprint to the finish.

Also join us for the Lodgepole Mixer 10K - an evening run on race day, that gives runners a chance to challenge themselves to second race on the same day!

Your race directors for this event are André and Kelsey Delorme. André participated in the event for a couple of years and when he heard that the previous director wanted to step down, they decided to take the chance! 2017's event was their first and they have grown it to what it is today!

André and Kelsey would like to thank all past sponsors and volunteers. This event could not go on without them and we look forward to working closely with you again!
